Sarah Huang
Sarah is a fourth-year studying neuroscience, global health, and music cognition. She appreciates the experiences she has gained by volunteering and working within the Chinatown community to promote health literacy and has loved seeing CTHI grow in the last few years. In her free time, she enjoys playing piano, doing taekwondo, and collecting round items.

Tok Lin Yeo
Tok Lin is a second-year studying social policy, economics and data science. He finds the work that CTHI does incredibly valuable, and hopes to be further involved in Chicago and its Chinatown community. Aside from academics, he likes running and loves watching anime.

Jessica is a third-year studying Learning Sciences, Computer Science, and Business Institutions. She enjoys volunteering at Chinatown and learning more about the different facets of the Chinatown community. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, binge-watching dramas, and trying new desserts.

Austin is a third year studying biology, music cognition, and Asian American studies. He hopes to give back to the Chinatown community by promiting accessible and culturally-conscious health literacy programs. In his free time, he likes creating writing, baking, and swimming.

Alex is a third year studying industrial engineering and data science. He appreciates being able to relate to CTHI’s work culturally and helping the Chinatown’s community grow and develop. In his free time, he enjoys going on runs or swim, eating good food, and exploring nature around him.

Lauren Ho
Lauren is a third-year studying biomedical engineering. She appreciates the experiences she has gained by organizing fundraisers, coordinating speaker events, and putting together socials for CTHI members to bond. In her free time, she enjoys rowing, watching movies, and long walks on the lakefill.

Jeffrey is a junior at Northwestern University, majoring in Data Science and Biological Sciences. He is deeply involved with CTHI, where he applies his passion for community service and healthcare innovation. He works to improve health outcomes and access for underserved populations, showcasing his commitment to making a tangible difference in the community.

Megan Wong
Megan is a junior-year studying biological sciences and global health. She is passionate about reducing minority health disparities and appreciates the experiences she has gained with CTHI in increasing access to health resources for the Chinatown community. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, reading, and trying new restaurants!

Allen Wang
Allen is a third-year studying statistics, economics, and statistics. He continues to treasure the clinical interpretation opportunities that CTHI has in improving healthcare access for individual patients and the wider Chinatown community. In his free time, he enjoys scrolling on TikTok, hammocking on the lakefill, and FaceTiming his niece (a cat).

Claire Shen
Claire is a third-year studying biomedical engineering and oboe performance. She loves interacting with the elderly in Chinatown and excited to get more involved in the community. Outside of CTHI, she enjoys reading, playing video games, and going to the gym.

Rebecca Chen
Rebecca is a third-year studying neuroscience, biological sciences, and english. She is currently an intern at the Midwest Asian Health Association and is passionate about serving the Asian community and bridging the gap between healthcare providers and patients through translation in CTHI. In her free time, she enjoys playing violin, ice skating, and hanging out with friends.

Timothy Chen
Timothy is a third year studying biology and science in human culture. He is passionate about putting Traditional Chinese Medicine in conversation with Western Medicine and researching the mutual benefits they can have in improving access to healthcare in Asian-American communities.

Raymond Xiong
Raymond is a fourth year studying Biology and Psychology. Through CTHI, he enjoys the opportunity to go help out the Chinatown community and also meeting other people who are dedicated and care. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, watching TV shows, and running.

Tara Chen
Tara is a senior studying biology and science in human culture. They enjoy working with the Chinatown community and has gained valuable experience through volunteering. In their free time, they like to rock climb, spend time with their cat, and eat ice cream.

Marisa Wen
Marisa is a third-year studying bio and global health. She enjoys promoting health and wellness among people closely connected to her cultural identity. She also loves exploring Chinatown's great food with CTHI members! In her free time, she enjoys dancing, exploring nature, and snowboarding.

Zoe Lee
Zoe is a second year student studying biology and neuroscience! She loves the opportunity in volunteering and experience she can gain from working with the community in Chinatown. Her hobbies include hiking/ going on runs, exploring the city and trying new restaurants!

Jenny Guo
Jenny is a second-year studying psychology, Spanish, and legal studies. She is a part of the clinical committee of CTHI and looks forward to volunteering in Chinatown alongside learning more about the community! When she's free, she succumbs to her chronic boba addiction and enjoys long walks listening to music, crocheting, and reading.

Megan Wong
Megan is a first-year studying biology on a pre med track. As a new JE, she is looking forward to working with other members and helping the Chinatown community. In her free time, she enjoys painting, running, and spending time with her loved ones.

William Xia
William is a second-year studying Biology, with a minor in Environmental Policy and Culture. He enjoys traveling to Chinatown and being able to interact with health professionals in a way that connects with his cultural heritage. Outside of CTHI, Wiliam spends his free time playing basketball, lifting weights, and playing the saxophone.

Elise Yu
Elise is a first-year studying biological sciences on the pre-med track. In the coming years, she is eager to make a difference within the Chinatown community by translating, forging connections, and promoting health equity at various clinics and local events. For fun, she enjoys dancing, playing the violin, exploring new foods, and playing Mario Kart.

Audrey Lam
Audrey is a first-year studying chemistry. As a Chicago native, she is passionate about volunteering within the Chinatown community to foster opportunities to promote more inclusive healthcare. In her free time, she enjoys writing poems, playing games with friends, and trying new foods.

Anna Dai
Anna is a second-year studying psychology, global health, and legal studies. She loves working with her peers in CTHI and using her research and design skills to make health cards that could inform and benefit Chinese immigrants in the Chinatown area. She looks forward to the continual growth of CTHI! In her free time, Anna loves reading, spending time in nature, being an amateur photographer, and checking out great restaurants in the Chicagoland area.

Nicole Wei
Nicole is a senior in SESP studying Social Policy and minoring in Economics. She is excited to learn more about and give back to the Chinatown community through volunteering. Outside of CTHI, she is involved in Triathlon Club and likes to take walks at the Lakefill.

Grace Yao
Grace is a first-year student studying Math and Global Health. She is excited to be a part of Chinatown Health Initiative, and looks forward to volunteering and health education events. In her free time, she enjoys thrifting, trying new foods, and playing piano.

Lindsay Yamamura
Lindsay is a third-year studying sociology, global health, and business institutions. She is passionate about getting involved with the Chinatown community by promoting healthcare accessibility and literacy. Some of her favorite things are dancing, eating yummy food, and spending time with friends and family.

Johnny is a second-year studying biomedical engineering. He enjoys volunteering, talking to community members, and finding strategies for promoting health literacy. In his free time he likes playing basketball, playing the clarinet, and producing music.

Kimberly is a third-year student studying communication, cognitive science, and Native American and Indigenous studies, focusing on health communication. She's passionate about cross-cultural design, technology, and law to enhance patient care, aligning with CTHI's mission of connecting Chinatown to accessible health resources. In her free time, she enjoys cafes and walks!

Haile He
Haile is a second-year majoring in Biological Sciences. He enjoys helping brainstorm and plan fun and enjoyable events for members of CTHI as well as more professional events such as speaker panels. He hopes that his contributions to the club and the Chinatown community can help make a big difference in both student life and health outcomes for Chinatown residents. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and watching TV shows.

Kalista Cao
Kalista is a third year studying Communication, Business, and Design. She is passionate about giving back to the Chinese community that she was born and raised in. Kalista enjoys trying out new restaurants, snowboarding, and cooking in her free time.

Ashley is a first-year studying neuroscience and film. She is excited to meet new people through CTHI and to volunteer in Chinatown. Her hobbies include going to concerts, taking film photos, playing the flute, and hanging out with friends.
